Add or Update Links on UBL.com
UBL.com is user-definable and that means YOU are responsible for making UBL.com what it is: ultimate. To add or update a link to any section of UBL, click on Add Your Link’ that is located on the left side of every page on UBL. If you are not already a registered user, you will be prompted to register at this time. Once you have registered you will be able to add content.
Add a New Band or Artist to UBL
Go to the ‘Add Your Link’ page and enter the in the Artist Name search box. The Artist Entry page will come up, fill out the easy form. Along the way, your entries will be automatically checked, but please be careful with your typing and spelling. Correct, complete entries help more users find your pages faster and will automatically make your favorite available to the millions of music fans who visit UBL.com every month.
Add New Link to Existing Band or Artist Page
Go to the ‘Add Your Link’ page and enter the name in the Artist Name search box. Click on "Add A Link" to submit a new web-link. Fill in the required boxes and hit "submit," to add the link. Or click on "Type Your Concert Review" to submit a self-written live concert review. Please note: links may take up to 24 hours to post.
Update Existing Link on Existing Band Page
Go the ‘Add Your Link’ page. A list of your previously added content will appear. Find the specific link and click on "edit." Edit the entry, submit the changes, and you're set. Once again, please note: links may take up to 24 hours to post.
Add An Industry Listing Link
Go the ‘Add Your Link’ page and locate the Industry Link section list on which you'd like to add links to. Industry listings include: Record Labels, e-Zines, Meta-Sites, Festivals, Venues, Promoters, Musician Resources, Online Events, Radio Stations and Musician Resources. Click on the link and fill out the requested information.
Search Tips
Please review the following search tips to help you find what you're looking for in UBL.com
- Omit "The" (i.e. search for "Rolling Stones" instead of "The Rolling Stones").
- It's not necessary to enter the complete name or title, you can specify as much or little as you want. (i.e. searching for "Verve" will pull up "The Verve" and "The Verve Pipe").
- If nothing matching your search is found, try typing in less information and broadening your search.
- To find a soundtrack or musical, enter the title with "Album:" selected.
- Spell out numbers as words (i.e. Ten Years After).
- If your search has "and" in it try using "&" instead.
- Make sure you have chosen the proper search option (artist/title/resource).
- You can search for artists alphabetically by clicking on the letters across the top of each page.
